It starts with a free call
We talk pricing openly at your free intro call, so you can decide in your own time. You'll have a clear picture of the cost before you commit to anything.
Free intro call
Free · around 20 to 30 minutes
A relaxed chat about what's going on for you and how Solution Focused Hypnotherapy could help. You'll come away knowing how sessions work, how many you might need and exactly what they cost. The decision after that is yours, and there's no follow-up pestering.
Book your free intro callThe things everyone asks, usually slightly embarrassed
Will I lose control, or do things I don't want to do?
No. Stage hypnosis has a lot to answer for. Trance is a natural, deeply relaxed state, similar to daydreaming or being absorbed in a good book. You stay aware and in control the whole time, and you can't be made to do or say anything against your will.
Does hypnotherapy work online?
Yes. Sessions over video work just as well as in person. You're relaxing in your own home, which many clients prefer, and I work with people across the whole of the UK this way. All you need is a quiet spot and a decent connection.
How many sessions will I need?
It varies from person to person, and we'll talk honestly about it at your initial consultation. Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is designed to be a brief therapy. Most people work with me weekly for a set period rather than indefinitely, and some issues, like specific phobias, follow shorter structured programmes.
What if I can't be hypnotised?
If you can daydream, you can do this. Trance is a natural state we all drift in and out of every day. My job is to guide you there on purpose. Some people relax deeply in their first session and for others it builds over a few weeks. Both are completely normal.
What happens at the free intro call?
We have a relaxed chat about what's going on for you, how the approach works, what sessions cost and any questions you have. There's no hypnosis on the call and no obligation to book anything afterwards.
Is hypnotherapy a replacement for seeing my GP?
No. Hypnotherapy works well alongside medical care but doesn't replace it. If you're experiencing symptoms that worry you, please speak to your GP. If you're in crisis, contact 111 or call Samaritans free on 116 123.
Still wondering about something?
Ask me anything on the intro call, or send a message first. There are no silly questions here.
